Who is Dr. J. Shafer
Dr. Joseph Shafer has practiced chiropractic since graduating from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1980.
Prior to this, he graduated cum laude from Louisiana State University, where he studied international law, history and psychology.
After moving to Denmark, Dr. Shafer further specialized in Applied Kinesiology, nutrition and sports medicine.
He became a Certified Sports Medicine Physician in 1989 and a Diplomate in Applied Kinesiology in 1990.
Between 1986 and 1990 he served as one of Team Denmark’s physicians for elite athletes, supporting competitors at the 1989 World Games in Karlsruhe and working as team doctor for endurance racing teams at Le Mans and the Daytona 24-hour races.
Dr. Shafer has lectured internationally for decades and held academic positions in Russia, including an assistant professorship in Novokuznetsk and later a professorship in Moscow.
He has developed several diagnostic and therapeutic approaches used by chiropractors, osteopaths, physicians and physical therapists worldwide.
Today his main focus is the Brain Recovery System, which he teaches internationally across Europe, America and Australia.
